Packaging for Mum Chocolate Factory by Alessia Sistori

“Mum chocolate factory is a chocolate manufactory that produces finest organic chocolate for the whole family. These values are communicated by a highly personalized branding that combines handcrafted illustration and traditional printing methods with high end finishings such as embossed golden foil. The icon shows a dandelion flower which embodies both warmth and lightness of a summer breeze and thereby follows the friendly and personal image of the brand.”

Alessia Sistori is a designer originally from Berlin, but she has travelled and worked all around the world including Rome, Valencia, Barcelona, Mexico City and India to grow her inspiration, get to know different cultures and the peoples needs and thereby to build her career as a visual designer.

DesignThinkers

Advertising agency Rethink worked with the RGD on an event theme and visual concept that would look just as fresh at the annual DesignThinkers Toronto conference (November 7 and 8, 2017) as it did on May 30 and 31 in Vancouver. The team came up with “Perspectives,” which nods not only to the varied speakers in the conference lineup, but to design itself.

As a brand-new event, the West Coast version had some additional requirements. “In the past, the RGD has promoted the conference mostly through posters mailed to members and previous attendees,” says Hans Thiessen, creative director at Rethink. “But there’s not many members here, so [the campaign] needed to be more social.”
